VARIATIONS
Do not substitute almond butter for cashew butter; cashew butter is the only butter to use with this recipe.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Cut and core your favorite firm apples, then slice. Leaving the peels on adds color to your serving tray. Place a bowl of dip in the center and serve your festive caramel apple dip!
PLANNING AHEAD
This dip can be prepared a few minutes to a few days ahead of your desired serving time. Keep in mind that, when chilled, the consistency will become firmer and will soften as it warms up.
